Woman Adopts Elderly Dog, Then Realizes ‘Chloe’ Looks Familiar — THIS IS UNBELIEVABLE!

This is one of those great little stories that makes your heart sing! When 10-year-old Nicole Grimes begged her grandmother for a dog, she had no idea the impact that request would have on her life. She couldn’t have been happier when Chloe, an adorable Pomeranian-Poodle mix puppy, joined their family.

Sadly, when her father got a new job that required him to work from home, Chloe’s energy and barking became too much. The family had to put Chloe up for adoption. They hoped and prayed she would find a good home.

Check it out from Little Things:

Eight years passed by. One day, Nicole was scrolling Facebook when she noticed a photo of a senior dog who needed a new family. She instantly felt a connection to the sweet-looking grey-haired pup.

Within days, Nicole and her family began to notice strange similarities between her new shelter dog and Chloe, her very first best friend from when she was little. Similar personality traits, similar movements… similar everything.

Nothing prepared the Grimes family for the unbelievable results, which they took as a sign from Nicole’s late grandmother — the same person who brought Chloe into her life so many years ago…

And here’s more from WTHR:

“It just reminded me of my old dog. So I decided to take her in,” Grimes said.

Not only that, but the dog’s name was also Chloe and was about the same age Grimes’ puppy would have been.

Although the family had doubts that it was the same dog, a microchip scan confirmed that it was indeed Grimes’ dog from all those years ago.

“I felt like I won the lottery,” Grimes said. “I never thought I’d see her again.”

It just goes to show that some souls are destined to be together. It doesn’t matter whether you’ve got bare skin or fur, a snout or a mouth… Our four-legged friends are little people, too! They have little hearts and little minds… And they get lonely, sad, happy, and anxious.

So just remember that the next time that you want to yell at your dog, or don’t feel like going for walk, or get angry because of a mistake they made. Your pet loves you and they have been entrusted to your care.
