Priest Reveals Mystery Saint Who Helps Him Perform Exorcisms

Frontline Warriors Against the Forces of Darkness

In the battle against evil, the threadbare cadre of exorcists are on the frontline. In their struggle against Satan and his legion, these brave priests need all the help they can get.

Paranormal News Daily recently published the story of one such man, Fr. Piero Catalan of Italy.

Ouiji Board-Like Game Sets Off Chain of Terrifying Events

Father Piero came to prominence last year when he participated in a meeting with school officials in Reggio Calabria, Italy after students became obsessed with and reported disturbing results from a ouiji-board like game called “Charlie Charlie”.

The Saint That Demons Fear

According to Paranormal News Daily, Fr. Piero often uses holy relics, specifically of saints, when he conducts exorcisms.

He is quoted as saying, “I use them during my exorcisms. Which saint do I invoke most often? I have a special love for Saint Pio of Pietrelcina, who often makes himself present during exorcisms. The possessed person becomes afraid. He’ll say, ‘The one with the beard is here!’ And I reply, ‘By any chance, is he named Saint Pio of Pietrelcina?’ The demon will respond, ‘No, his name is Francesco Forgione.’ The devil fears even to name him.”

First Priest to Bear Sacred Wounds

Saint Pio, known before his beatification as Padre Pio, was a Capuchin monk of the Catholic Church that was the first priest to bear the stigmatize wounds of the crucified Christ. Thousands came to see him for his ability to see sin in people, an ability he is said to have had since he was seven-years-old.

He Can Instantly Tell If Possessed

During exorcisms, Fr. Piero states that he can quickly deduce if a demon is present in a person or location.

“[A]s soon as I put my hand on the person’s head, he or she pulls back, turns very cold, feels like he or she is choking, or becomes nauseated, etc.”

The Demons’ Dirty Tricks Revealed

During the ritual, Fr. Piero recalls many instances of demons trying to tempt the priest.

“The demon,” Fr. Piero exclaims, “does everything possible to tempt us, exorcists. Once, he asked me, ‘How much money do you want to come over to my side?’ I started to laugh because I’ve made a vow of poverty. I don’t have money to pay for my own funeral if I die, and I share everything with the poor. And the devil said, ‘If I could, I’d kill you instantly.’ Then I replied, ‘But you can’t because I belong to Jesus!’”
